There He lay
in the bed of our making
There He lay
in the garments of our love

Where the river washes over us
as the earth beneath us quakes
and the hills and valleys dance
across the ripples in the lakes

His light surrounds my temple
in a penetrating way
His light surrounds my soul
in His light I wish to stay

Where the river washes over us
as the earth beneath us quakes
and the hills and valleys dance
and my temple yearning aches

How I long to lay beside Him
with His blessing on my skin
How I long to lay beside Him
and be blessed thrice again

Where the river washes over us
as the earth beneath us moves
and the hills and valleys drink
and His blessed fountain soothes

and there He lay in that bed
annointed with my scent
and there He lay in that bed
The blessing has been spent
This was written once again for * starblind

...inspired by HIM....and influenced by certain other pieces of poetry that celebrate love shared between two souls.

almost religious with references to temples, blessings etc... a completely different take on sex than the usual "dark and dirty" senerio. truly a beautiful place to take erotica. I applaude you.

Thank you so much....I had just finished reading Song of Songs from the Bible (Old Testament written by Solomon, good stuff) The erotic references there in that book are very apparent if you read it closely. I am taking an approach of celebrating my partner's sexuality....and it just seems to flow. Thank you again for your comment! :)

Thank you for yet another lovely poem, about me, but more importantly about us. I love you, Madeline, and know well the feelings of yearning, affection, and deepest passion alluded to here... you've evoked them beautifully.

and you evoke them yet again in your comment. *shivers*
There is something very magical that happens when the feeling is understood. I took us there in my poem. You took us there by 'knowing'....and tonight we shall revel in it.
I love you too, Andrew.

thats very beautiful... I think that your feelings for Him are very apparent in this piece and it makes My own heart ache for the love of One I once had.......

"I know of no group of women as joyful, as spontaneous, as loving and vital, as healthy and beautiful, as excited, as free in their delights and emotions, as Gorean slave girls; it is true they must live under the will of Men, and must fear Them, and the lash of Their whips, but, in spite of these things, they walk with sensuous beauty and pride; they know themselves owned; but they wear their collars with a shameless audacity ... a joy, an insolent pride that would scandalize and frighten the bored, depressed, frustrated women of Earth."

awwww Thank you! and
Though many on this earth go without ever knowing love. Rejoice that you have at least experienced it. I know that burning quite well.
